Association Citrus

For facilitators

Each year, Citrus offers a training course of eight days to prepare future leaders of the workcamps. This training is conducted in France, in partnership with other delegations, with long-term international volunteers with Solidarités Jeunesses.

The idea of the course is to provide tools and techniques to those who will lead a project next summer, in a spirit of sharing knowledge and non-formal educational practices.

Trainees are put into a workcamp situation (heritage or environment) that can sensitize participants to the technical side of projects: teamwork, safety, handling tools, etc.. The course combines practical and theoretical workshops around different themes: intercultural encounters, the local dimension of a workcamp, volunteering, community life and the role of the facilitator.

This training is open to everyone! To participate, it is not necessary to have the BAFA. This training is supported by the association, to the extent that you agree to host a site with Citrus.
